What we’re talking about today could range from a talk with a friend in the business to someone in a group you belong to. You’ve gotta be open to what they’re gonna say though and not get offensive if you asked for it and they don’t tell you what you want to hear. One thing we hear all the time through our Consulting is that a certain property just isn’t selling. Clients will tell us that they’re doing everything they can but people just aren’t reaching out. Well guess what? That happens. You can be doing everything in your power to market a property and for some reason the phone just won’t ring for a couple of weeks. Then BOOM! out of nowhere everyone’s gonna want what you’re selling. We’ve seen it time and time again. Some of your properties will sell really fast and others will take a little bit. The idea is not to panic, to have a little patience and keep moving forward. Just follow the plan and it’ll all work out, you just have to keep doing the work.

You see, because of the way we market for land you’re going to get responses from every type of seller. Some will be really easy and some will require work. The great thing about this is that you can choose which ones you want to deal with. Don’t mind the extra leg work? Great! Work those deals and make that money. On the other hand if you only want the easy ones that come with no strings attached there’s more than enough of those also. You decide because in the end it’s your business and you run it how you want.
