The new Mayor in our home town has got some big ideas about how they want to get involved with Real Estate and it really got us fired up. The idea is to heavily regulate Airbnb’s which we believe is done with good intent but should they get involved at all? This is an important question because we’ve seen many land investors start renting their land out on these sites for some great cashflow. As the process goes… You either find a property you want to buy or you have one that you want to sell and you go under contract on it. Great! That’s awesome. As part of this, it’s super common to negotiate a period of time that the buyer can perform further due diligence without the risk of losing the property to another buyer.
